Welcome to the online gallery of photographic artist River Betencourt.

River Betencourt Photography showcases the photography talents of River Betencourt covering his shoots in Europe, Africa and the United States.

River uses the medium of photography to explore the intimate side of portrait photography. Black & Whites images are his preferred style, however, his colour 35mm, digital and slide photography have also been critically acclaimed over the years. Recently River started working on digital manipulation to create some new artwork, including his latest work "Reflections" which you see exclusively on this website.

Later this year, River's latest work is being showcased in a coffee table book, entitled [ k i s s e d ]. Published by Bruno Gmunder, this book also features osme of the world foremost photographic artists (and include some of River's idols) - fulfilling one of his dreams!

His latest online show, entitled  [ m u s c l e ]  - celebrates the human form in all its wonder - up close and intimate! You can also visit his previous shows too on this website - images are rotated ocassionally to keep things fresh. His is also working on a number of new ideas for shows simultaneously, stop back from time-to-time and see his work unveiling ...
